Quick checks
Solve the most common issues
Make settings changes while parked. For setup advice beyond these fixes, see the complete getting started guide.
Camera permission or preview
- Open iOS Settings, find MightyDash, and turn on Camera access.
- Return to MightyDash and reopen the Camera screen.
- If the preview is still unavailable, close other apps using the camera and restart MightyDash.
Microphone permission or missing audio
- In MightyDash Options, turn on Record Audio in Videos.
- When prompted, allow microphone access. You can also enable it in iOS Settings under MightyDash.
- Audio applies to new recordings; it cannot be added to clips recorded while audio was off.
Location label or driving speed
- Turn on the location-based feature you want in MightyDash Options.
- Allow location access while using the app in iOS Settings.
- Driving speed needs a reliable location reading and appears only with the recording display enabled. City and state labels depend on an available place-name lookup.
Saving a recording to Photos
- Open a finished clip from the Recordings screen and choose Save to Photos.
- Allow add-only Photos access when iOS asks.
- If saving fails, confirm the iPhone has free storage and that Photos permission is enabled for MightyDash.
Storage is low or filling quickly
Shorten the retention period, lower the resolution or frame rate, or record with the rear camera only. Save or share important clips before changing to a shorter retention period. The storage guide explains the tradeoffs.
Finding or deleting recordings
Open Recordings to browse clips by day. Open a clip to review it, or swipe to delete it. MightyDash also removes recordings after your chosen 3–30 day retention period. Copies already saved to Photos or shared elsewhere must be deleted from those destinations separately.

Tell us what happened
Include what you expected, what happened instead, and any steps that reliably reproduce the issue. App and device details help narrow it down.
To request deletion of earlier support correspondence, use this form and put Delete my support correspondence in the subject.
Please do not include recordings, precise location information, or other sensitive details unless they are necessary for your request and you are comfortable providing them.
